The judge presiding over the child sex abuse case of Jerry Sandusky
on Friday denied his defense team’s request to dismiss the charges.
Judge John Cleland left all 52 counts of sexual assault in place, moving ahead with a Monday start to the former Penn State assistant football coach’s trial, The Associated Press reports.
Sandusky is accused of sexually abusing 10 boys over 15 years. The alleged victims were participants in Sandusky’s sports charity for underprivileged children.
